The Sussex Street Community Law Service residential tenant advocacy service has continued the commitment to provide community legal education (CLE) for different community groups. We have an ongoing relationship with the Bentley Mental Health Service. CLE was suspended from March 2020 due to the restrictions on gatherings and movement of people as a result of Covid-19. This service remains suspended due to the unpredictable changes to movement and gathering restrictions, particularly the number snap lockdowns during the last year.
The expected recommencement in 2021/2022 was delayed due to the emergence of omicron and the internal policies minimising client contact during the first half of 2022.
