Emergency Relief

Are you having trouble meeting financial commitments?
Are you suffering temporary financial difficulties through unemployment or illness?
Can't pay your telephone account?
Can't pay your power bill?

We may be able to provide some assistance to meet your short term difficulties.

Sussex Street Community Law Service Inc is able to assist with emergency relief in limited circumstances. Clients who are having difficulty in meeting financial commitments can contact a Financial Counsellor to discuss their difficulties. We will look at your income and expenditure and discuss how you can put in place plans to overcome these difficulties. We can help by making a small part payment towards your outstanding utility accounts.

Anglicare and Sussex Street can assist with food vouchers to see you through difficult times. Food vouchers are available on Tuesdays by appointment.

If you would like to discuss your situation call and make an appointment to see the Financial Counsellor or the Anglicare Emergency Relief volunteer worker.
