6. INSURANCE

Contact your Insurance Company as Soon as Possible

Even if you don't intend to make a claim, you should notify your insurance company that you have been involved in a crash. Someone may make a claim against you or you may decide that you cannot afford the repairs. If you do not notify your insurers, they may refuse a later claim.

Whether you make a claim or not, you should ensure you have made note of all the relevant information relating to the crash e.g. date, time and where the crash occurred.

Uninsured?

Even if you are not insured, take down all the relevant information. This will be useful whether you sue someone or someone sues you.
