Chapter 30: Native Title & Aboriginal Land and Heritage

This Chapter deals with the current laws which relate to native title, land and the cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It includes a discussion of the leading native title cases and an outline of the native title claim process. It also describes laws protecting Aboriginal cultural heritage, including intellectual property and the rights of indigenous artists. A useful section on incorporation of Aboriginal organisations is also included.
