Chapter 27:  Insurance

This chapter concerns general insurance, not marine, life or health insurance. It discusses why you might want insurance, how the insurance industry contracts are regulated, some of the different types of insurance available and how to read an insurance policy. It mentions some of the things you must do when you are about to get insurance, when you have insurance and when making a claim. Finally there is discussion about some important features of an insurance policy and what to do if your are unhappy about the way an insurance company is dealing with your claim.
