Chapter 25:  Immigration

This chapter outlines the provisions of the Commonwealth Migration Act and Regulations regarding entry of non-citizens to Australia for both temporary purposes and for permanent economic migration. It also explains how citizenship can be acquired, and in what circumstances individuals can be deported from Australia.
